Such had prompted countries to boost their economies by expanding consumption while reinforcing their long-term economic strength from the supply end. As the nation's capital city, Taipei is devoted to improving its infrastructure and building an environment conducive to production and economic activities. The City Government has also committed much of its resources to creating investment opportunities, stimulating private consumption, and implementing policies in the hopes of attracting corporate capital in innovation and business ventures that will consolidate Taipei's economic strength.
